Anyone ever tried the EF 24-105 with Canon Extension Tube EF 25 II? Nikon Nikkor Z DX 12-28mm F3.5-5.6 PZ VR. Panasonic LUMIX S 14-28mm F4-5.6 Macro.
The Kenko DG Auto set is markedly cheaper than offerings from Canon. While a Canon EF 25 II extension tube is about $150 USD on Amazon, the Kenko DG Auto set (the 12mm, 20mm, and 36mm) is priced at just over $100 USD. Given that the tubes contain no glass, they have no optical difference and are very similar in construction.
*The following Canon lenses are not compatible with Canonās EF II-series extension tubes: ⢠Canon Extension Tube EF 12 II cannot be used with Canon EF 8-15mm f/4 Fisheye, 14mm f/2.8L and MP-E 65mm f/2.8. ⢠Canon Extension Tube EF 25 II is recommended for use with lenses with focal lengths of 50mm and longerāno wide-angle lenses.

5. Best macro lens for shallow depth of field: Canon TS-E 90mm f/2.8L Macro. "The focal length on the Canon TS-E 90mm f/2.8L Macro is not that much shorter than the Canon TS-E 135mm f/4L Macro lens, but the difference in minimum focus and focal length is clearly visible in the pictures it produces," says Eberhard.

I researched that extension tubes are the best option to get started in terms of image quality. I can't decide whether to get the EF 12mm II or the EF 25mm II extension tube. The camera that I have is a Canon Rebel T6i. Also, I have 3 lenses which are the 18-55 IS STM, 50mm f/1.8 STM & 55-250 IS STM.
